Flack Global Metals brand sizzle reel
A first-impression film built to introduce a metals company to the clients it wanted to win, the story a prospect meets before the first slide.
The brief
Flack Global Metals needed a short brand film to open conversations with prospective clients: something that could carry the company’s story in the opening minutes of a pitch and set the tone before the detail arrived.
My role
I wrote the script and structured the storyboard, sequencing how the story would unfold frame to frame and keeping the voiceover and the visuals telling the same thing at the same moment. The illustration and motion were produced by the design team; my work was the words and the order they arrived in.
The thinking
A sizzle reel earns or loses attention in its first fifteen seconds, so the storyboard’s job was to pace the reveal: open on the one idea that reframes how a prospect sees the company, then let each frame add a single beat rather than crowd the screen. Sequencing the board this way meant the script and the visuals could be checked against each other before anything was animated.
